This policy explains what data we collect when you visit Couprix.com, what we do with it, and what we don’t do with it. We tried to write this in plain English instead of legal jargon.
What We Collect
When you visit the site: We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our site. This tells us things like which pages get the most visits, how long people stay, and which country visitors come from. This data is anonymized. We can’t identify you personally from it.
We also use cookies for basic site functionality and analytics. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings. The site will still work fine.
When you contact us: If you send us an email or fill out our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you wrote to us. We use this only to respond to your message. We delete contact form submissions after 12 months.
When you subscribe to our newsletter: If you sign up for our email list, we store your email address in our email service provider (Kit/ConvertKit or similar). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
What We Don’t Collect
We want to be specific about this:
- We don’t collect payment information. All purchases happen on the software vendor’s website, not ours.
- We don’t sell your email address or personal information to anyone. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We don’t use retargeting ads or behavioral tracking.
- We don’t track your activity across other websites.
The Couprix Plugin
Our WordPress plugin (Couprix) doesn’t collect any data whatsoever. It doesn’t phone home, doesn’t send analytics, doesn’t track users, and doesn’t make any external requests. Everything runs on your server and stays there. You can verify this yourself because the code is open source.
Affiliate Links
When you click an affiliate link on our site, you leave Couprix.com and go to the vendor’s website. At that point, the vendor’s privacy policy applies, not ours. Many vendors use their own cookies to track referrals. We recommend reading their privacy policy before making a purchase.
Your Rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we have about you (usually just your email if you subscribed)
- Delete your data
- Unsubscribe from our emails
To make any of these requests, email aman@couprix.com. We’ll respond within 48 hours.
Third-Party Services We Use
- Google Analytics for website analytics
- Kit/ConvertKit for email newsletters
- Gravatar for author profile images
- LiteSpeed Cache for site performance
Each of these services has their own privacy policy.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll note what changed.
